Tape & Analog delays have been favored by engineers and producers for decades for their warmer and more natural sound compared to digital delays. Both types tend to roll off the low and high frequencies, which makes them sit better in the mix. That gives the musical and organic feel that many of us are chasing. Based on the 1980s classic Deluxe Memory Man, Our own Memory Cat Brigade unit is one of the most faithful software recreations of this music industry staple. As we always do, we measured and recreated every single component of the original hardware’s circuit following its original schematic. Of course, we walked the extra mile and in addition to the accurate modeling of the behavior of all original parameters, we added a few bonuses. Cat Memory Brigade is capable of achieving up to 1100 mS delay time and features a Filter knob for even darker echoes.
